 Israeli forces have continued their attacks on Gaza despite US President Donald Trump's announcement on Wednesday that both sides (Hamas and Israel) have agreed to establish a ceasefire.

Last night, President Trump announced in a post on his social media account Truth Social that Hamas and Israel had agreed to implement the first phase of his 20-point peace plan. He said, "I am very proud to announce that both Israel and Hamas have agreed to implement the first phase of our peace plan.
